Concreting Licence Tasmania

The Department of Justice handles concreting licensing and accreditation in Tasmania.
In order to become an accredited professional concreter in Tasmania, an applicant must be able to demonstrate adequate skills and qualifications applicable to the type of construction.

Requirements

Applicants do not have to provide formal qualifications to be accredited, but work must always follow Australian quality and safety standards. The following evidence will be beneficial:

  • Trade association membership (such as Concrete Institute of Australia)
  • Evidence of work with accredited builders
  • Referrals from past customers

How to Apply

Submit the following documentation to your nearest Service Tasmania shop:

  • Completed copy of the Building Practitioner Application form (available on the Department of Justice, Tasmania website)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Statement of Experience
  • Copies of all qualifications
  • 2 x detailed references
  • Insurance
  • Application & licence fee
